Most people will, at some point in their lives, need a lawyer. Formerly focused on sharing legal knowledge, Justly approached us and wanted to set a new course with the goal of driving conversions. Inspired by the ambition of their vision – to make the entry point to law more accessible, simple and human – and the industry shifting towards clients increasingly valuing transparency, trust, and resonance, we crafted a brand new digital presence.

The challenge
Designing for legal needs: balancing growth and trust
Following in-depth discussions with lawyers and people, we discovered a pattern: people didn’t know where to find, or how to approach, the right lawyer, while lawyers didn’t know how to find, or get found by, their ideal clients.
We needed a way for people to consider Justly as the go-to place when in legal need – a website that could effectively communicate their vision in a simple yet engaging manner.
Being a startup in the legal tech space, Justly’s platform didn’t just have to comply with industry standards, but it also had to be trustworthy and professional, instilling confidence in potential clients. Moreover, the website had to be scalable to accommodate new features and content as they expanded.
The solution
A redefinition of how law is being approached – and perceived
First, we flipped the narrative around law itself. From complex, rigid, and discriminatory – to straightforward, approachable, and inclusive.
Then, we gave Justly a new brand identity. We introduced a user-friendly, engaging web design with a focus on intuitive UX/UI, encouraging users to explore, connect, and communicate actively. We made sure all graphic design elements and the new voice resonated deeply.
The epicenter: a smart matching system to find compatible lawyer-client connections.
To help Justly foster a trusted community, we introduced all-encompassing “business card” profiles for lawyers, complete with transparent information and client reviews. With a comprehensive resource library, we wanted to empower clients with knowledge about their rights, while organically boosting Justly’s visibility.
Through further SEO optimization, we improved rankings, while integrating Google Ads strategies to drive high-quality traffic and maximize conversions.
The result
Unleashing the power of legal accessibility
In six months, we turned the experience of approaching law from complex and intimidating to straightforward and welcoming. To an engaging, cohesive matching platform that not only increases Justly’s brand value but also offers a seamless user experience, effectively driving engagement and growth. With targeted Google Ads campaigns contributing to a 54% boost in conversions, Justly now boasts over 400 registered lawyers, making it Sweden’s largest legal online community.
